Milo Beads

July 17th, 2011

I haven’t updated my blog for over a year as I have been so busy making a new range of beads which I call ‘Milo Beads’. These beads have a beautiful range of subtle, natural colours which remind me of the countryside around me, which I love, even in the rain! Just look at this group to have an idea:

See also the necklaces gallery on this website. At the same time I have been selling necklaces. You can still find my work in Thornthwaite Galleries, Keswick, Cumbria but also now in Crafts Alive, Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. I have just finished a fortnight in Aberglasney Gardens with Crafts from Carmarthenshire and was happy to see one of my new milo necklaces going all the way to America.

By the way I now have two new rescue doggies – Lucy and Elle.  More news later.

New House

February 17th, 2010

Well it’s now February. I actually moved to Wales last September but it’s taken me this long to get my brain (and my new website) in gear.

I have finally got my new studio (no longer a bead shed – this one is far superior) up … but not quite running yet. After the aggros of drilling holes in walls for gas pipes and trying to find a chair that was the correct height for the workbench, I am now ready to go… so watch this space.
